And Now Reporting from Murfreesboro...

Yes, Anita and I are in Tennessee again. I started to say we "had" to come down here to babysit our grand daughters...but truly I love being with them so much it is not a "had to" but a blessing to get to be with them. They all got off to school despite a little whining from the youngest who would really rather stay home with "Mamaw and Papaw." They will all be fine though since school is almost over for the year and things are winding down. These last two weeks of school is mostly fun stuff, playing, gathering up books, signing yearbooks and the like. Before I left though, I made a trip to TSC for a friend to pick up two new picnic tables for the picnic area outside of church. While the benefactor wants no recognition for the wonderful contribution, I am personally saying "THANK YOU" in this blog. (I hope the picture I included comes through.) Let's take good care of our new tables.

Soup, Soup, Soup!!!

Yep, It's Spring and all of us are ready for warmer temperatures and fewer colds and flu. However, we are not quite there yet. Several of our church family members are struggling with health issues and are really ready for a change. Soooo, Anita got busy and made "mongo" kettles of soup for me to share with these friends. She made lentil soup, vegetable soup, bean soup, and even tried some original types yet to be named! The many families who supped on these excellent "vittles" were filled physically and as we prayed together...spiritually. Praise God for Anita and her soups!
