We have so many children and adults in our church and community who need to know someone cares. They may "know" Christ but because of present circumstances they are having trouble feeling His presence. Many members of our NPUMC congregation have been trained in praying, listening, and just plain caring for others. For many it comes very naturally. We are seeking those members who want to do God's work in the form of a "Caring Ministry." This may include visiting, praying, or just listening to someone in need of God's love. I have tried to contact those who I know have the skills needed for this work in the faith. But I don't want to miss someone or hurt someones feelings who has trained for this important church work.
